When we were kids, we sold popcorn, wrapping paper, submarine sandwiches–you-name-it–just so we could travel to games and purchase gear. Once we joined the workforce, we couldn’t escape co-workers asking us to buy the same over-priced-candy-bars we used to sell. You know, the one where the candy-company keeps 80% of the earnings. We wanted to gamify fundraising so:
  1. Teams keep the majority of what they earn
  2. Fans are more-involved
  3. Fundraising is easier and more effective
  4. Administrators have a paper trail
